I joined 3Advance as a product designer and was later promoted to Design Lead and Creative Director. 3Advance is a Washington DC-based product agency that works with a wide mix of clients, from early-stage startups to enterprise-level businesses, across sectors like health, data, music, AI, sports, and finance.

During my time there, I helped design and launch more than two dozen apps and digital products. These included B2B platforms, B2C mobile apps, internal enterprise tools, and public-facing web applications. We also worked on B2B2C products where both user-facing experience and backend workflows had to align. Every project came with a different challenge, whether that was mapping out complex user journeys, simplifying dense data, or helping a brand find its voice.

Beyond design, I was involved in new business efforts. I contributed to pitches, created proposal decks, and joined sales calls to help bring clarity to both vision and scope. Once projects kicked off, I often became a long-term partner by building trusted relationships with founders, product owners, and client teams to help shape roadmaps and evolve products over time.

As the team grew, I helped refine internal processes, introduced design systems, and mentored junior designers. I also played a part in hiring and defining the structure of our design practice as the studio scaled.

Even while leading, I stayed close to the tools. I believe in hands-on design leadership that keeps momentum going and helps push the work forward in the right direction.
